Not sure how many threads. but I can confirm shooting my #7 plug out of my head and the hood snorkel above cracking off the hood and flying onto the opposite side of the street.

I'm pretty sure it's 4 thread on the plugs.

Pretty sure its 4 threads. For sure in the ball park. When my motor was built I had 9 thread inserts installed. Money well spent.
