The car is getting faster day by day... more of this figure it out boost stuff... the 15# pulley will boost the SC into the 20's now that i have fixed the vacuum leaks and have adjusted the wastegate...
going to take it to the track tomorrow evening since i have all the little kinks worked out and it feels like a beast
Things I learned at the track this weekend... I made 4 passes in 60* weather at the local 1/8th mile track... Mainly because I have a buddy that has been saying take it to the track bla bla bla.... Well I had another friend bring some 15" Warriors with a ET Street, well the caliper was too big and they did not fit... SO I made the passes on Goodyear Eagle Supercars... First Pass was a 10.2 with a 2.9 60ft at like 88mph 2nd pass it went like a 9.2 with a 2.5 60ft at 93mph... Well on the third pass I ran a buddy of mine and it went a 9.0 with a 2.4 60ft but when i hit 2nd it got completely out of line and i had to completely jump off it and short shift to 3rd it trapped 85mph and the last pass it went a 9.0 2.4 60 with a 96mph trap... Well, lets just say street tires are pointless on the car for racing, every time you pedal you loose boost... I have a set of 275/40/17 Et radials for another car I have, and a friend of mine has some stock GT rims... I may mount them on there just to see what it will do with more traction...
