Hey guys, after a few months off the site, I am back..I now have a new problem with my 98 Contour SVT. I drove the car this morning, went to the car wash for a cleaning, come back to get ready to go out..Started the car up just fine, it idled for a few minutes..I then put it in reverse to back out, and when I did, the car died, kinda like I had stalled it, but I didn't..So I try to start it back up..and no luck..engine cranks, but wouldn't turn over..I checked all fuses, under hood and dash..Let it sit for several minutes..got back in and it started up..I pulled it up and then went in reverse..put it in nuetral and pulled the e-brake, a couple of seconds later it died again..acted like it wanted to start back up, but wouldn't...I have let it sit for about 15 or 20 minutes and tried it again...started up right away..let it idle for a min or so and then all of a sudden the rpms dropped and it shut off instantly..so maybe im crazy, but it seems like when it cools off it starts up, then once running it gets too hot and shuts down..but there are no lights on and the temp gauge shows normal...I will say that about 2 or 3 weeks ago the yellow coolant light on the left of the gauges on the bottom come on twice, only for about 20 or 30 seconds then went off..but Ive had no problems until this morning.. I talked with a guy from advance and he said it could be either the fuel pump getting to hot and loosing pressure causing the engine to shut down or it could be an ignition module..what do you guys think?? And bye way, I was told it was the fuel pump gone bad, however, I have fuel in the lines and the fuel pump does come on and work since the car starts up half the time..

Any Idea's?

Thanks,
Brad
