98 cobra Vortech 8 rib conversion

Anybody have any insight on converting over to an 8 rib setup on a 98 with a Vortech?

Part# for all the pulleys and then I’ve heard people say some need shimmed out

Ya you'll need to shim it out. every timing cover is different due to casting. my BGG kit didn't work worth a damn for shims so I ordered shims from McMaster-Carr

I don't have PN's for pulleys, you can source those on your own pretty easily. Just start looking up F150 5.4 8rib pulleys. I personally didn't use Ford stock pulleys as they're junk.. Go with Thump or American Racing solutions. I just built my 10rib kit for my car using American Racing Solution idlers, and a Innovators west alternator pulley.
