If you're going to get the Boundary pump gears skip the Melling pump and pick up a 13/14 pump. It has the billet backing plate so it's stronger. And I don't know if you necessarily need the 3V set up. I can't remember if the gears are different or just the bypass spring. The 3v needs more pressure to run the VVT. Youn don't need that extra pressure.

I'd contact someone like MHS or Livernois fit the heads. I've always preferred dropping them off and getting everything in one place just in case something happens. I'm sure you could hit 800hp on stock heads, but a little porting work will just make it easier.

Do you already have the Vortech?

Didn’t see it on your list, but you might want to consider an after market oil pan , preferably with road race style baffles for oil control

13/14 ford oem pump with boundary gears ? (Standard mustang gt ?)
I do already have the vortech.
I was considering mhs they seem to be good and know there stuff.

I didn't want to shell out a ton for an oil pan especially since I don't do road racing or anything. That is generally what I see on forums when you need an aftermarket oil pan.Thats why I chose 3 valve main stud with a 3 valve oil baffle/gasket combo. Stock oil pan also holds 7 qts

My bad, 13/14 GT500 pump.

I'm not up on Vortech, but I think for 800 you're going to want a bigger blower. If it can get you there it might be at the top of its range.

Looks like I can get a oem gt500 pump for $100 plus shipping. I would still use boundary billet gears correct

If you don’t already have the heads I would look for a DB or DC casting they have the best flow rates next to the FR500 heads. They already have the improved cooling mods and really only need a little bowl work to make them flow really good. I would let the cam determine the spring rate. Another mod you might want to think about is me has .5mm oversized swirl polished and undercut stainless valves for a good price

I would really like to stick with my stock heads as I already have them.
Your talking terminator heads right ?
Am I really going to need oversized valves to hit 800 hp ?

Don't the 99 heads have a slightly larger bowl for a bit of drop in compression which I would think is a better alternative for the boost. I remember seeing something about the different chamber sizes here a while back and I thought the 99/01 had the largest

Hmm interesting statement I remember reading that the flow rates between the heads was negligible.
Most recommended putting money into something else such as bigger blower.

If he's getting new pistons then chamber size doesn't really matter as he can size the piston dish to get the compression ratio he wants.

No personal experience, but what I've researched said the oversized valves are kind of waste on 4.6's. The bore isn't big enough to take advantage of the larger valves.

Personally I'd get the heads refreshed and then put the extra money into a bigger blower.

Oversize exhaust valves do help NA.
It is one of the mods nasvt recommends for the C-heads
They can be brought to within 90% of the intake diameter iirc.
It probable does little for FI I am sure.

Get a JT-trim vortech.. and you should be there.. Ditch the 10% o/d and get a 15% o/d crank.. Make sure that you have a good A/A intercooler and 3.5" piping is preferred.

depending on base pressure you're probably going to need bigger injectors.. also if you don't have a standalone ecu I'd add that to the list lol..
