Like the title says, those are the issues I'm having. Me and another guy swapped trans (gave him my auto). Did a PATS reflash and the car started up. Idled rough as hell and would randomly cut out. Throttle Response was nonexistent. JBA Speed Shop was able to trick the PCM into thinking it was still in the old car and now the car runs fine.
The only issues are:
I've heard these are common issues. Also, how would I go about getting a tune again? Am I still able to with the state of the PCM? Also, can my current SCT X3 still be used? I thought I could use it on up to three different cars (with my car now counting as two with a different PCM running the donor car's VIN).
My car was a '13 with Track Apps/Select Shift and the other was a '12.
I hate dealing with this electronics and computer controlled nonsense. Here's the most important question:
Would buying a NEW Manual 2013 PCM programmed to MY VIN fix all these issues? I imagine it would. Really want to get my Lund tune back on.
The only issues are:
- ABS Light
- Trac Control Light / Warning: Service AdvancTrac
- No Cruise Control
