A buddy got a last gen Acura Integra. He wants me to come over this weekend and "help" (read: me do all the work) change the spark plugs.

Is it a straight forward job, or do I need specialty tools? What should I expect?

Keep in mind I thought the coil on plug thingys on the LS1 was "high tech," I come from distributors, wires, points, and plugs. This will be my first "import" maintenance experience, and I don't want to look like a bigger idiot than I already am.

If it's anything like my Honda (should be similar), spark plugs are a piece of cake. Right up top and easy access. Just don't drop anything down the plug holes.

You'll need a large wok and some rice wine. Some metric chopsticks may also be necessary.

U.M.

See, this is what I'm talking about special tools:

My chopsticks are English!

Thanks Everyone! :beer:I knew I was in for trouble when I asked "Is it a VTEC?" and he replied, "No, it's an Integra." Now I have half a mind to pull the plugs and fill the holes with popcorn.
