Air Raid install issues

I installed an air raid on a 2013 SHO today and all went as expected, but ran into an issue with the temperature sensor. The length on the factory wire harness was not near long enough. I undid the taped up section and had to release all the grommets on the wire harness to get close to the length needed. I got the plug connected but it is tight and stretched to its limit. I am not comfortable with that. Any good solutions? Nothing in the instructions to address this.
