I swapped to Recaros out of a 2013 a couple thousand miles ago and the swap went perfectly. No issues, lights, etc.
I recently started getting an airbag light on my dash. It comes on as it should when the car is initially fired. Goes away after 5 seconds and then comes back and stays lit.
At first I was told it could be the RCM module since there has been a TSB for that but today I found that if my girlfriend is sitting in the pass seat, the light stays off... Weird... Later this week, I'm gonna swap Passenger seats with a friend to narrow down the issue to be related to only the passenger seat. I've also heard of such issues with pass seat sensors in earlier MYs.
Any thought on what it could be?

Now obviously, my car wasn't equipped with Recaros... But do you guys think the dealership would notice if I brought it in for warranty work? I know they can obviously look it up but is this something they immediately be able to tell isn't something I had from factory? Lol
