So I was drving last night and the temps were rather cool. My ambient temp was around 49-52 and my IAT2 temps hovered in the 82-88 while cruising. A couple quick blast to 130MPH form 55 the temps would only surge to 100-105 and drop back to mid 80's within 15 seconds. I figured there would only be a 20 degree differance just cruising, and was suprised to see 35-37 at some points even doing 70mph (48A vs 85IAT2). So does this seem normal or do I need to look at this a little more. Pump is running and fluid is moving fine. Car has twin fan HX from Revan. Thanks for any info.

Mods? I'm with Ken on this one. I'm usually 20-25 depending on the weather with my mods.
Mods is sig. Ya I figured with temps at 50 i would be in the mid 70's. not mid 80's. temps really didnt surge from my WOT blast. and sitting in traffic they would still only go to 90 cause of the fans. I wonder if they are gonna surge in 80+ degree heat. If fans a running, pump is running, fluid is moving fine, what could it be?
Very normal. With Van's dual fan H/E I routinely see IAT2's that are 30-35 degrees above ambient.

Sounds about right to me too. Seems like my delta is consistently in the mid to high 30's with Vans HE...
