This happens with damn near every widely known mass shooting. Then you have these dumb**** articles Who is the Texas school shooter? What we know

Wtf is this? What is it actually reporting? This “disturbing photo”?! Man, **** the media.

when i had my daughter in private school they had armed plain clothes security at the entrances (very few). they appeared to be ex-military or LE. my 5 year old currently attends a YMCA center (school only) and they have the entire perimeter surrounded by 6' tall solid vinyl fence. unfortunately the front door is glass, though you need a key code to get in. its moreso for custody dispute type situations im sure.

i did visit a public pre-school in a bad area once that was seriously locked down. brick walls, steel door with no exterior windows to the public. they had a camera and intercom system you had to use to gain access.

the schools got billions in covid money which supposedly hasnt even been touched. not to mention the $40 billion we sent to zelensky to launder for hunter/big guy. we should use that money to secure our schools. start with armed security. veterans/retired LE or even private security firms. we have armed security guarding pot shops, jewelry shops, pawn shops, etc... that would create many jobs, especially for vets who need work and do something to make schools more secure. if you've ever visited a very expensive private school you would see that they have armed uniform guards posted. you never hear of anything like this happening at a school with security like that.

then, start building walls around the schools. block walls/steel walls, whatever. too high to scale easily (this shooter jumped over a school fence per security video). it may seem like a prison but it would certainly force a potential shooter to only enter through the schools entrance, where security is guarding. otherwise you could have a situation like Jonesboro where the shooter just starts shooting kids out on the field. shooter could jump the fence and start mowing down kids at lunch outside. meanwhile the security guard/school police officer is hundreds of feet away on the other side of campus. supposedly this shooter was stopped quickly, yet look at how many he was able to kill in that short time.

banning guns/"assault rifles"/"high cap mags" is just a band aid on the wound and wont stop this. there's far too many guns already in circulation. even if every single law abiding gun owning citizen would turn their guns in voluntarily there would still be tons of guns out there.

why kill a bunch of elementary kids? because its the biggest middle finger you can give to society. nothing else would hurt people more and it makes the killer notorious.

Society has been desensitized to such killing and violence until the opportunity presents itself to further an agenda.

I was talking to my gf about this last night. Israel guards their schools with units derived from the military I believe, possibly their LE but they said they basically work together. Why don't we utilize National Guard or even active duty in the sense of how Security Forces or Embassy duties are set up? I was Security Forces and ended up in PRP which is where you are stationed to guard nuclear weapons at the storage sites. We went through multiple background checks during training that determined our eligibility for the various paths and then once at our units we went through various levels of training and went to different companies and platoons. Not saying it needs to be exactly like that but a similar screening process and make it a B-billet for military personnel Cpl or Sgt and above and make it a great honor to be School Security Forces because you are there only to protect children.

I know there would be tons of push-back on that but I think it would be a feasible route to truly making all schools a hard target. Only thing I can think of that would be a major hurdle is how many personnel would be needed for all the schools in the country.

Gov Abbott just held a press conference to address the public, and Robert (Beto) Francis O'rourke showed up and started talking over Abbott. People were yelling at Beto and he was escorted out.

What a fool. Trying to play pollical games on the lives of those kids during a press conference.

Exactly...my kids school is the same

Then ya go Lightfoot calling for gun control...when she has 50 murders a week atleast lol

My middle / high school was NOTHING like this.

All doors on premises unlocked at all times.

I graduated in a class of 900 I think?

So 2500 on campus at any given time

Can literally walk in any door

Beta O’Cuck could stand to suck a few rounds of 5.56.

What a useless ****ing piece of sub-human garbage.

Just once I’d like to see one of these asshole shooters walk into a meeting of Democrats and direct their rage there instead of on innocent children.

This is gonna turn into a huge shitshow before the midterms...the dems know they have to push thier gun control stuff hard and ram it through before the admin loses clout in november
