Well Since I switched to an auto I've been through three converters and may go to a fourth but I did manage to get myself into the tens weighing in at 3450 on pump gas. Here is the time slip...

It was awesome! To be one of 6 or 7 people to ever do it was a great feeling. It was also my first time ever in the tens.

Wow nice pass and welcome to the 10 second club. Are you cooling the car down properly and using ice in the i/c resevoir? Even though it's an upper only with no port it could still be pulling some timing on the back half of the track.

Regardless though you know what you're doing and congratulations again.

Yes I cool it every run. I run about 7lbs of ice through every pass on the hot days and a little less when it's cooler outside.

It's the one that mounts on the radiator support. Not sure how big it is. I usually fill it 3 or 4 times with ice between runs.

Hmm I went through this and my car never back halfed like it should with that same style tank. I would cool the car down completely and it would still be down on the back half. This was with multiple ported Eaton combo's and with a 2.3 Whipple as well. Packed completely full of ice just like you do.

Then when I finally put the 5 gallon resevoir in the trunk the car picked up the mph instantly that I thought it should be running the entire time. Not only did it pick that up but actually just a little more.

Something to keep in mind for a later modification.
