I'm getting close to needing a respray. Was thinking about the possibility of metallic black or even midnight purple.

Another idea was Nissan's Grey from the early 90's

Im very partial the the skylines. I think the grey on the r32 would look good on a terminator

I feel like I've seen a dark grey terminator on here.

I'll search for that "non factory color" thread

What color are you rocking now?
My truck is guard metallic and I think it’s top 3 best colors Ford has ever produced. I would seriously consider painting that color on any car if I ever had to respray and wanted a change

there is a Porsche metallic black from around 1990 or so that is really nice. I'd have to find it. I had a car painted that color and it looked awesome.

Possibly even earlier, early to mid 80's and maybe a 928 color. I haven't seen anything like it since.

My 17 explore is "smoked quartz" which is a ford darker metallic.

Most the time it get to dirty from being the DD that it just looks charcoal. But when it's clean and the sun is out it's pretty cool looking darker colo, but it's not black.

There was a member on here who repainted their 03 tuxedo black; I used to have the pics saved as it was in the “what did you do for” thread some years back I believe. It inspired me to pursue a metallic black on mine when I do my build. I’m going to try a metallic black wrap before to see if I really like it over a good plain gloss black.

I'm not a fan of that Nissan grey. Tuxedo black or any metallic black would be nice. Downside with that is that it can be even more temperamental than black paint.

For purple you could try that SN95 Violet color, maybe throw some metal flake in it.

Boss orange would look good, especially with matte black graphics.

Sonic blue or something of that sort is the best looking, hands down.
