Any V8 swaps for these Focuses?

It just popped in my head that there were V8 swaps for the old Focus so I wonder if the new ones can fit one too. Anyone know?

On the other side, my friend owns a body shop and he was checking out the new Escapes and the new Focus comparing their chassis. He's waiting to be able to pick up both cars cheap and he wants to do an AWD swap for the Focus. He's built some pretty cool cars in the past and done a lot of swaps so he could definitely pull it off.

Not sure about an AWD swap, but I do believe a V8 RWD swap can be done.

Both setups would be sweet! Or even a 3.5EB swap with possible AWD if you coukd get it to transfer from one of the other vehicles. They did have a Duratec V6 swapped Focus I remember.

All of those would make for an awesome car you could daily drive.

v8 swaps are rather easy.

awd swaps not so much.


There are several 4.6 V8 swaps in Foci, and I know of one 351 swap, and 2 5.4 swaps. There is also a couple of twin turbo v8's.

Kugel Komponents makes kits for it:

bolt in kits, not much chasis modification required.
