I am wondering if there is a way to make the clutch easier to use, like bleed it with a better fluid or a better line or lube the crap out of something.

    Any suggestions?

A twin disc clutch will have a much lighter pedal and smoother engagement.

Stock is a twin disc.....if you can manage to get TSB done, the '10 clutch is a much improved clutch.

I've got the '10 clutch assembly installed on my '07. The chatter is gone and the amount of pressure required on the clutch pedal has been greatly reduced. A true pleasure to drive. If you anticipate high power go for the McCleod.

    Cheers,
    Ray

The mcleod rxt I put on has the exact same pedal feel as my stock clutch did. It's for sale cheap in the market section cheap if your interested in a lighter pedal.

I put a 2010 clutch in my '07 as well and it is amazing how much better it drives.
I didn't realize how much I was compensating for the old clutch.

You're right, not sure why I was thinking the earlier cars weren't.

+1 on the 2010+ clutch. Waay easier to drive. If you have a friendly service advisor at your Ford dealer, he may be able to get you some help. You are probably still covered under Powertrain Warranty.

    Here is the TSB:
