Anyone else experience this?

Car is 2013 GT

When I start the car in the morning (has only been happening since it's got cold out), the RPMs will rev from about 800-1200 up and down and up and down for about 10-15 seconds before they settle down.

Cold idle strategy I believe. I wouldnt worry about it.

My '11 does the same thing in the cold here in VA. I let it sit for a minute or two and it idles down without the slight surge. It does not seem to affect anything.

I am used to a high idle at start up, but not this. It acts like the idle air control valve is bad but then levels out. I guess it's normal if others have it. :shrug:
