Appears Amazon has plenty of M1 for the same price as walmart.
Motorcraft filters, as far back as I remember, have always been made by Purolator and stamped "Made in USA".
Not any more.
Now they say "Majority Content Madd in USA".
In the past year, they've also changed their packaging. Here's a pic of one of the FL500's I bought at walmart the other day:

And when I look on Amazon:

- Purolator still make Motorcraft filters?
- If so, Purolator move to chyna?
- If not, who makes 'em?
Brands
MANN+HUMMEL combines many strong product brands that reflect the broad range of our company and thus specifically meet the needs of our customers. Explore our brand world here!
You're looking at the small potatoes. Purolator is owned by Mann+Hummel, who also owns Wix and others.
Motorcraft is in contract with Mann+Hummel, not purolator. They may have been made at a purolator facility in the US prior, but if Motorcraft states they want a price reduction, MH most likely said "Fine but they get made in our Chinese facility" and motorcraft agreed.
Reason I know this is most of the AC Delco/Motorcraft aftermarket parts come from your normal supplier you'd get at O'Reillys, AZ, ADV, Napa, etc.
