I think we are going to be baned from the roads and highways in about 20 Year’s. I’m sure some more tracks will become available with probably storage since you can’t drive to the track. I don’t think they will allow 700hp cars to intermingle with thousands of robot cars full of people....lol. no joke Sent from my iPhone using the svtperformance.com mobile app
I think by law they can't suddenly prohibit the use of something that was legal at the time of purchase so you will be "grandfathered-in". What I can see especially in Kalifornia is them making it more expensive (liberals love taking your money and use it to steer society in the direction they like) levying added expense for the privilege of driving and enjoying your car on public roads that you paid for. The dichotomy between autonomous vehicles sharing the road with cars under "biological control" raises some interesting questions. Anytime the gubberment gets involved making decisions for the rest of us rarely turns out well.
Yeah people should at least do some planning in there heads, the younger you are the more you have to be disappointed by, the older you are the bigger financial hit you will have. Like I said in 20 Year’s or so you will be storing your R/Cobra at a climate control facility on track grounds proper Sent from my iPhone using svtperformance.com
Couple things that will deter this happening. How much money revolves around the automobile and what it provides us. Our "sue happy" culture. Every time there is an accident both people will sue the living crap out of the manufacturer. Sent from my iPhone using svtperformance.com
No this is more of an eminent domain thing, you can’t fight city hall, it’s for the greater good of man kind. I do think that if for example Ford throws in the towel and abandons the combustion engine these muscle cars will be worth a fortune....likely sold for let’s say 500g in 25 Year’s and up and above after that time. Maybe an owner will sell as a package car/ track membership, hard to say I personally don’t see Ford continuing a hp race that leads no ware Sent from my iPhone using svtperformance.com
Seriously man. Ya, I get the tech and the possible benefits. But lets be honest. So the "man" sits down the the big automakers and says "hey, we want to make self driving cars mandatory". You think the automakers will just say ok? No, they'll say the government has to cover every single claim arising from accidents from these self driving cars. Plus, they'll just grease the politicians up with some money or something....like whores that don't complain about sexual assault.
yeah non of us want this to happen I think Ford will just continue on but making Robots now.... the thinking right now is the Robots can’t share the ride with humans, maybe some future tech will save us so we can continue to drive our favorite haunts and pick up woman Sent from my iPhone using svtperformance.com
