Would have to get used to KPH vs MPH, and also being a Canadian car, it would have standard daytime driving lights.

DRL's could be disabled easily. Also, Pretty sure Digital Speed read out can be switched to either KM/hr. or Mph in the settings. My 2008 US GT500 allows me to switch between miles and kilometers measurement....though only has analogue gauge which is MPH with Km/hr. on the inside.

I don't think you have to pay the 13% Cdn. Federal/Provincial taxes since you're from the U.S. You will no doubt have to pay some U.S. tax when you bring it in. No doubt, a lot less than 13%....

When I buy something some in the U.S. online and bring it up here, I have to pay the 13% on top of the price (on the converted price to Cdn. $$ no less...ouch!).

    .

Yes, shipping has to be considered for sure, but I still think you're waaaaaaaaaay ahead on the savings part.

Not to long ago there was a new 18 black R in north FL listed at msrp... plus new 18 regular GT350 are starting to show up listed at 3-5k off msrp....
The demand for theses cars has slowed way down. Ford hasn’t yet released the 19s either... thinking maybe there are to many new 18s still sitting at dealers?

I have a 2019R on order. Production will begin again once the snow and ice melts. Expect around early April. The tires now standard on both 350s are said to crack in the cold. So, the arctic blast must pass before production start again.

Are you sure that GT350 production stops in the winter months because of the cold weather?

Production on the 350 actually stopped @ the end of june, I just dont think they start up til after winter because of the cracking tire issues

I know that that didn't happen with the 2013 GT500 and it has crack prone tires. My car rolled off the line on Jan 14, 2013 and was sitting out in a snow covered yard waiting for a train.
If production stopped in June, I doubt it had anything to do with weather.

Maybe they've been working on a fix for the oiling issues on these motors

That would have been one hell of a good reason.

There were also a lot of leftover 2018s and 2017s. Ford wanted those to go too.
