Hey everyone!

I'm looking for some wheel dollies that would make moving cars around in the shop much easier. Then I can also utilize the space I have.

My main concern is finding some that won't ruin my polyurea coated shop floor. The floor has kind of a rough surface. Meaning it doesn't feel 100% smooth.

My thought was trying to find some that have a more forgiving rubber type of wheels. But can't seem to find any.

Any help is much appreciated!

Don't risk messing up your floor, just buy one of these. I'll buy your current 4-post to help offset some of the cost.

That's really neat.

Unfortunately it looks like a complete platform. I like my 4 post because I can still work underneath the car.

I've thought about adding another 4 post lift.

I haven't really ever seen any that don't have hard plastic for the wheels.

If I was in your situation I might build a set, you can buy pneumatic casters that hold over 250lbs each. 4 of them per corner should lift up any of your toys.

The problem is you'll be in them for quite a bit and keeping 16 tires aired up would keep me up at night lol.

Other option might be to lay down cardboard and see if the floor survives.

The HD9SW would work for 4 cars.

Yeah I believe advantage lift has one like that. I should have done it from the beginning.

They drove about 1 1/2 hours to deliver and install my current one.

I didn't expect to accumulate this many cars...this fast.

I would. I have 3, one in my house garage purely for the extra parking spot, but that was back when you could get a cheap 8K for $2200. Those days are long gone. I'd like a 4th that is wide enough to fit my monster offroad truck (which 98" outside tire to outside tire), but it went from $3600 to $5200 thanks to Biden. The nice thing about a second one is you can rip a project apart and still have one for general maint, etc...
