most dealers give fair wholesale value for a good clean trade in, and if it needs a bunch of work and money to get it lot ready then that cost is deducted from the wholesale value.
everything in this world that is bought and sold has a wholesale cost, nobody

Ok. Well Im about to get a new GT500. Talked to them about trading my car in 20K is highest offer I have gotten. Now I had someone come look at car and offer me 24K. Hmmmm. I think I will sell locally and make 4k. Its common sense not to trade in a car unless you have to or dont want to deal with selling it.
If you can get $24,000.00 for your 6 yerar old cobra you had better jump on that deal and go to your local ford dealer and buy a 2009 shelbygt500.Good Luck!

Why had I better jump on it? Car is worth that easy. Either way next for weeks I will be getting a GT500 most likely a 2008 bec dealers need to move them out. But still want to much for them.

so at 20 they a truly on the money

Bout sometime someone posted manheim. If anyone has a offer for 24k I would take it because they have someone that has cash to put down. Because lending rates are going to be very close to these MMR results. That's where black book info comes from and that's what banks are willing to loan because of others defaulting. So the bank wants out of the car for what it will sell for at an auction becuase the bank will run these cars at these sales.

My wife works for Safety-kleen and gets X plan. we used that to purchase my cobra(sold now) back in '04. I'm currently looking at a new 2009 GT 500,
2009 MUSTANG SHELBY COUPE - New Inventory Details at Riverland Ford - Your LaPlace, Louisiana Ford dealer over the internet I've gotten a price of $44,990. Are there any incentives to the dealer on '09's that I need to know about that I can use as a bargaining tool? Is X going to be a better price?

You can get new 09s for close to 40k. Just look on ebay. Alabama, Florida and calfornia have them all for that cheap. Usr thqt.
