backfires at high rpm shifting

car backfires during high rpm shifting. would that be a rich or too lean condition? what are the causes? only changes to my car are 4:10 and dumped magnaflows? thanks for the help!

might be too rich i believe would make it do ttht...nothing worry about tho...my car did it last night so its no biggie

Mine does it too. In fact in shoots fire sometimes. I've had it on the dyno and they said the a/f ratio is fine. So I don't know why it does it.

I was literally about to make this same thread!lol. So it's not something to be overly concerned about? I have an o/r x pipe with no cats.

Check for exhaust leaks.
EDIT: I also just remembered I took out the ram air set up and that may have had something to do with it also. The air hitting the maf may have caused a mismatch. Just a couple of maybe ideas. My back fire is gone and it all started when I dumped the exhaust. Prolly exhaust leak.
