Backfiring

So last night i raced my friend he has a 06 300 SRT8 and i have a 01 cobra so when we raced he said he saw flames coming out of my exhaust every time i switched gears could this be caused by my injectors? and also i just got my engine rebuild has 1k miles on it already:shrug:

It's common with 01's until they're tuned.

so a dyno tune will do the trick

Yep. It's just running a little rich. Probably get 10hp out of the tune. What has been done to your engine?

Did you win the race? Must have if he was looking at your tail pipes.

whole engine was rebuild since engine was siezed

and yes i did:banana: we raced dead stop and got him by like 3 cars with bald tires ahaa

well i guess a tune after i install the new clutch this week since mine already gave out,and thanks i didn't believe it myself
