Well, we could start with all of the socialist programs we already have. Do I need to list them? And for the record, I'm pro market. I'm not a marxist, and neither are any of the democrats I know. But the right seems to have this idea, fed by the right media, that dems are some sort of last century communist brown shirts. I'm just telling you it's not true. We also want to start our own businesses and buy cars. We're just saying we can put money into some programs that help provide a safety net, and honesty, the states that need that the most are red ones. Those states already are using a lot of social programs, paid for through taxes. Just saying.

    @BraveJim
1.What particular socialist policies do you want to see implemented?
    2. How much do they cost?
    3. How do you propose to pay for them?
    4. How much of my money do you think you are entitled to?
I'm going out to dinner now so you have a few hours to answer.

We already know we have a socialist society. Half the pop doesn’t even pay taxes.

Do we want more free shit for everyone like YOUR party keeps suggesting? NO.

Don’t get all butt hurt and assume because someone doesn’t agree with YOUR party’s elected officials, that we paint all dems the same. Typically that’s what YOUR party does. If you support Trump you’re a closed minded racist bigot etc.

Again, why the **** did you sign up here?

Do you have any sort of a performance vehicle?

I completely agree with having assistance programs for the less fortunate. The handicapped, elderly, and those who try hard, but still struggle. Where I think we differ is where I draw the line with assistance. The Democrats want to give everything to everyone who don’t have anything, regardless of their circumstance. My tax money should not go to subsidize illegal immigrant families, able bodied people who refuse to work, and convicted criminals who can’t seem to fly right.

I have to get ready for some stupid formal gala, so I’ll have to go off the grid for a while. @BraveJim you have plenty of time while I’m gone to plead your case.

See, I think these questions come from a misunderstanding of what we need. Lets keep schools, roads, cops, fire departments, parks, the mail, social security, the military, medicare/medicaid, hospitals, and veterans benefits.

    2. Fair question. Taxing the very top, which only includes millionaires, pays for a shit ton. Make them pay their fair share—after all, the got to where they are in any cases with the help of a lot of these aforementioned services. And they can still be millionaires. Read the plans, it's not as a bad as you think.
    3. Pork is problem on both sides of the aisle. The last 2 Republican presidents have added a lot to the debt, and believe it or not, Dems are better at balancing budgets. Don't freak, but I think we spend too much on the military. In many respects, building outdated equipment is a JOBS PROGRAM, which sounds like socialism, and not what I would expect you guys to be for.
    4. What? Come on, man. I'm not a marxist, we work for our money. But the idea of a universal basic income is interesting—it's not enough to live on, but it can take the edge off (which would include A LOT of people in red states). It's like 200 a month in some cases. And thats pennies compared to some of the dumb s**t we spend money on...

This new wave of DemcRATS want our country to go full socialism and anyone that can't see that is blind. Their goal is full control of our lives and if you need proof just listen to the new leader of the DemocRATic party AOC who proclaimed, "I'm the Boss."
The United States became the most powerful, prosperous country in the world under capitalism and now they want to tell us it doesn't work and we need to go socialism. Yeah, lets listen to them.

    Socialism doesn’t work.
Tax the top until the move and take their money with them doesn’t work.
Paying people to sit on their ass and reproduce doesn’t work
Sterilization of stupid would work, but they said we cant do that.

You are a Pinko in denial. What the hell does "Fair Share" even mean? The top quintile in the US already pays nearly 70% of the tax liabilities in the US. The top 1%? They pay 37% of the taxes. More then the entire bottom 90% combined. The bottom quintile, aka welfare queens like you, pay 0 in taxes and actually collect money from the Government.

The rest of your post is tantamount to reading musings from Marx himself.
