They don't need to ban all knives. Just put common sense restrictions on ownership.

    No metal ones.
    No pointy tips.
    No sharp edges.

Also, universal background checks couldn't hurt.

It will get a little messy eating steak and most barbecue with hands only but everyone will feel safer so it's a small price to pay.

They need to ban assault knifes. No normal person needs to own a weapon of war.

PS Scary knifes, they need to ban those too.

And here is the perfect example on what will happen if they attempt to make firearms illegal, all the sick criminals will just go to the next easiest thing to carry out their mass murder and terror plots.

mmm, NY just called to make non-metal knives illegal because no normal person needs one and they get through metal detectors. So basically these dipshits just went out and told everyone how to get knives through any security not using an Xray machine. I'm sure there are people contemplating bad things that hadn't thought about this before

Decucko basically dodged Hannity last night and said if people pass a background and mental health check they don’t need guns that’s what the police are for.

because when seconds count, the police are only minutes away. Back to the old argument of I guess I don't need fire extinguishers either

Just saw this. I am surprised Fox News and Breitbart are not reporting it yet. Meanwhile the Clinton News Network already has a story on it...

Good thing I lost my ka-bars and bowie knives along with all my guns in a tragic boating accident.

Stop...just stop...you are talking common sense again....that simply does not fly in today's America unless it correlates with the agenda. Wait...agenda? BINGO.

Our favorite biased fact checker Snopes on more people being killed by knives than guns: Unproven

You'd think that the data would be clear cut so they could claim it is false. Instead they claim it is unproven. I can't see how police would not know whether a homicide was committed with a gun or some other object. It can't be that difficult to get stats on all killings.

FACT CHECK: Are Four Times More People Stabbed to Death Than Killed with Rifles?

Well swords, body armor etc. worked fine for our ancestors in Europe. If Swedish men today were as armed as their medieval and older ancestors of the past you'd see zero refugees in their nation today. Men should be proficient with knives, swords etc. I include myself in this because I want nothing to do with a knife or sword fight even if I am armed with one myself. Our ancestors had no choice it was required to survive. And they had short average lives. 1000-2000 years ago is not that long in the grand scheme of things.

Those are safe knives, it’s the little ones that fold up or are easily concealable that are dangerous. Especially the black ones.
