Bassani CatBack Which side does the longer Baffle go on?

Question: I took my baffles out of Bassani Cat-Back and did notice that one of the baffles is approximately 1" longer than the other. What side does the longer baffle go on?( I didnt notice till after the fact) I assume the system was specifically designed like this to minimize the natural frequency.

My baffles are the same size. They are also sitting on the garage floor. System sounds better without them.

So now it sounds like it is a lack of consistency in the manufacturing?...Can you verify this by standing them upright next to each other. Thanks

How much louder is this system without the baffles? Would you say twice as loud? ...not much louder? etc....

Both baffles are the same size ~ 10 3/4".

The baffles in take about 10% of the noise down, not significant. I wrapped them with motorcyle muffler packing and put them in for freeway trips to reduce the 'drone'.

Check Postban's sig. He dynoed w / wo the baffles. Only a 1HP difference.

I dyno'd mine with and without baffles and picked up 6 hp and 6 rwtq. Both baffles the same size

I had a set of their baffles last year and they were both the same size. So it shouldn't matter which side gets the longer (or is it shorter?) one.
