We had an all BeefcakeRacing.com final at the 2025 Modnationals in the S650 pro category.
Before the race I decided I wanted to showcase both cars so I enlisted the help of longtime customer and friend Joe Glockner.
Since the 24’ Whipple GT already established itself as the quickest S650 GT on the planet. I entrusted that to Joe to drive.
The 25’ Dark Horse had never been down the track and so I took driving duties on it.
Joe was qualified number one until the final round where he dropped to number two. the 24 GT was consistent as all get out with three test runs and 8.8 range, 4 qualifying runs in the 8.8s, and three elimination runs two in the 8.8 and one 8.9 (20 minute idle in the pits).
We’ve got this car dialed in. It’s a beast. The Whipple kit combined with the FI innerchiller just makes this beast consistent as all get out.
The 24 tips the scales at about 3840 pounds with Joe in it.
The 25 dark horse rolled off the trailer with me in it at 4380 pounds. we started out at 9:59 off the trailer with the dark horse and slowly whittled our time down to a 917 in the finals
The dark horse sports an F1A94 procharger supercharger. Big shout out to juggernaut Performance tuning who helped us all weekend dialing both cars in
both cars we run a lot of the same components on . they both have built 10r80s done by Finish Line performance using our suncoast cat2 kits and torque converters along wirh Dss driveshaft and axels, upr catch cans, and fic injectors.
we run a mix of suspension components from all of our companies that we use Bmr, Upr and Steeda as well, while the dark horse has a magnetic ride suspension, we do run Viking front coil overs, and rear shocks on the GT
we were definitely leaving some ET on the table on the 24 with the second gear leave, but we knew the track wasn’t gonna hold first gear leave and we just wanted to be consistent
The GT sports a kpm 2700 fuel system while the procharged car features a Fore Innovations triple pump

both cars feature lth Headers , the GT sports a MRT cat Back while the dark horse features the new MBRP dark horse specific catback. The 5 inch carbon tips look amazing.
Both cars sport weld racing wheels as well and the gt rocking aerospace pro street brakes
so many people to thank. obviously all the manufacturers that help out with our racing programs
finish Line performance for all the wrenching and putting in a lot of time the last few weeks getting these cars together. all the guys at juggernaut for all the extra work this weekend getting the cars dialed in.
Jim Roberts and Chaz Kee for helping out with a little bit of crew duties and lining us up all weekend
If it wasn’t for Jim and his guys, we never would’ve got both cars loaded before the rain came in today
Evolution performance for sponsoring the class, we appreciate the cash and Justin Young for organizing the event.
Joe set a new Best in the GT with an 8.85 and that was also with the second gear leave. If we can get some of that East Coast fall air and a great prep track where we can handle the first gear leave the car should go a 50 no problem.
Think once we can get a trans break on the Procharger it’s gonna be a handful as well. It should be an 880 car even at 4380 pounds
it really was a great race. You gotta remember the previous five Mod national events. We took six cars and came home with five broken cars.
it was nice to take 2, get a winner and a runner up, and drive both back on the trailer
