Anyone run these and have any feedback for street use? Looking to replace my 315/30/18 R888's for next season. The BFG's are 2lb lighter (29lb compared to 31lb), twice the tread life (200 compared to 100), but about ~$80 more each. Only a E85 ported eaton and don't really want to run the ET S/S.. but mostly because they are heavier, 33lbs for the 305/35/18

Thoughts?

I had never heard of those....just looked them up on tirerack....they actually look pretty damn good. But I have my doubts that they'll hook up that great at a 200 tread rating and your TQ level.

If your car isn't a daily driver, I wouldn't fool around with anything less than a drag radial. Your making over 550tq if I had to guess. The performance of a good sticky tire is well worth the 4lb difference. You're really big dealing it if your taking the weight of the tires into consideration... Get a twinscrew on the corn if your worried about 16lbs. I think I read somewhere 16lbs is equal to 1HP.

Had Hoosier d/r's before the R888's. I could tell a difference right away and that was a 6lb difference each (~120lbs rotational mass). So I'd like to shed that 80lb difference, if performance is somewhat equal. I guess my question should have been: how does "Enhanced "S" compound", compare to R2 compound.

Edit: not going back to Hoosier as they only lasted a few months lol, but they are only 25lb for 315/30/18

So you’re looking for less weight and less traction?
I’m with Roy, Stick with a Drag radial. You’re looking to go with a harder tire which probably won’t stick as good.
That being said, I’ve never ran that tire so I can’t give a review based on experience.

Not sure they're harder tire, that's why I'm asking if anyone has experience hopefully lol.
BFG can make one hell of a good tire, I know that

But na, I'm not looking for LESS traction lol. Here, check this out

Not much else out there in reviews that I could find. I was happy with the R888's, just checking my options before going R888r's
