Big difference between going to a party getting a little wild and waking up with regrets. Totally different if you're handed a spiked drink without knowing. I don't know the details but definitely seems he was a predator and at the same time preaching about how to live. Which is a lot of predators hiding behind a curtain of "holier than thou". I enjoyed the Cosby Show but like Chapelle said even if 4 out of 5 are lying.... thats still a lot of rape and any is too many.

Even in the 80’s if you ruff’ied a women and then had sex with her, it was rape. If you did it to 60 women, you are a predator who should never breath free air again.

/topic

I agree 100% however in this case the media and looney leftist women told us all of that happened and after 2020 nobody should believe a thing those liars say.

Same people that hide Epstein crimes so they could interview the royals later on.

Yeah but it started with Hannibal Buress telling a joke about inside show biz stuff. Didn't really help his career. Kinda why I believe it. Came off like he was on a roll and accidentally went too far and told the truth with the attitude "I thought you all knew?" I mean think about how hard they went after Trump and the best they could muster was what 2 accusers? No matter what if you have like 60 women calling a rapist on the record, you were treating women like trash to get that backlash.

If Cosby is smart he'll have a book ghost written spinning this, put it in a vault and keep his head down and enjoy what time he has left. Release it when he's dead to try to salvage the legacy.

Welcome to bidens America. Next up on the docket. The party of liberals will legalize pedophilia.

I would agree but isn't Cosby kind of hated by the modern left. The whole "pull you pants up" stuff, plus this is going to piss off all the #metoo people. I just don't see the narrative where this is a positive. If he "died of old age and health conditions" I'd be on board. This isn't helping Biden.

Curious wtf happened though and if the reasoning is true how that didn't come up in discovery or how didn't they try this before. Already tried health reasons.

If you haven't seen "The Gentleman" great gangster English flick and I must quote: "There is ****ery afoot"

Did he not confess to some?

What I got from what I read/saw today was that after the first trial, he fully admitted to acquiring queludes in order to drug women so he could have sex with them.

He made that statement following an agreement with the prosecutor that he would not be tried again.

Also mentioned was all the witnesses/victims that testified when there was no criminal case involving them.

Next up: Harvey Weainstein will get cut loose.

This shit is hilarious as it pertains to the lefty movement.

The whole LGBTQ deal and how trannys are taking over women’s modeling and sports makes me smile every time I hear it.

I read the opinion. What happened was the prosecutor decided that he didn't have a good enough case to go after him. The agreement was that charges would be dropped and he was not going to face charges for anything said in the civil trial.

As a result, that meant that he could not use his 5th amendment rights against self incrimination during the civil trial. After the civil trial was settled, the new prosecutors decided "we didn't agree to that so we don't have to honor it" (the original prosecutor had left the position). They then used the depositions from the civil trial to charge him and take him to trial.

In essence a bait and switch. Prosecutors got what they needed out of him in the civil trial where he couldn't plead the 5th because he was not in danger allegedly of facing criminal prosecution.

Then the judge allowed the prosecution to use additional "character" witnesses who had no knowledge of the case he was charged with. That meant that he was convicted as a "bad person" and not on the facts of that case.

Prosecutor over-reach meant that the conviction was overturned. Prosecutors can't use evidence that was obtained in violation of your rights. Had the prosecutor not said, "you will not be charged" he would have been able to use the 5th amendment to refuse to answer questions in the civil trial.

I don’t doubt he gave lewds to girls to loosen em up but I also don’t think those women are retards that can’t think, lots of dumb decisions all around.

I get what you're saying. I think we just disagree. If two college kids get drunk together, do drugs both knowing going into it, it's a grey area. You drug people without them knowing, new ballgame. Maybe it was a different generation but still comes off as a calculated creeper to me. Whole thing is muddy, just my take away instinct feeling.

Im willing to bet there are a LOT more! If u remember the case of Andrew Luster who was the Maxfactor Heir he would drug his victims just like this animal and film it!

Yet when some of the victims actually watched the video one of them started laughing cause she has zero memory of it ever happening.

She was like its hard to get emotional and upset for something I have no memory of. There are no bad fellings or memories to resurface cause they dont remember any of it!

Same for dozens of other women he raped! He was a serial rapist that had power and access to countless women who wanted to be in Hollywood. He definitely gave new meaning to the term "Casting Couch".

I'm willing to bet only a handful, if that, were legit.

Good. They piled on him unfairly.
It was a different world in the 80s.. if we're hanging out at a HUGE celebrity mansion doing tons of drugs and partying all night.... yeah... you signed up for some fun.

Would you have the same opinion if your daughter was one of these bimbos who “just signed up for fun?”

So he's out of jail.
Nothing I heard said he didn't do the crime, he got out on some technical court BS.
& the lawyer representing 30 or so accusers is filing a civil case..

I haven’t got to watch any coverage on this yet, but it should be interesting…or disgusting to see how CNN and MSNBC handle this since he is a man of color and he was someone convicted during the #metoo movement.

Funny thing is we are all people of color. Even an Albino has color. They are not 100% White. Hold a White sheet of paper or plastic next to your "White skin" and you'll be surprised how much darker you are. White people come in all hues and shades. No question if my mind that the White race is the most diverse of all races. The Earth could be 100% populated by only White people and it would be very diverse!

He was convicted, in PA, of sexually assaulting a lesbian. That woman from Temple was a lesbian, yes? Something isn't quite right. A lot of things aren't right but her? That's the one?

I won't be here to see it but hopefully in a few more generations and everyone will be everything and I'm totally on board. Make survival as a species so much easier.

Then there is religion. But seriously, arguments should be about different views of how the world should work not what you look like. Globalization is going to happen no matter how much you fight it. I hope one day before I pass I see people fighting over ideas.

But, sooooo much easier to use "non-difference" to create differences. "Can't we all just get along"

Bill Cosby is a piece of shit. But, the new prosecutor ****ed up, and his overturned conviction is the result.

Our country's justice system is set up so that a truly innocent person doesn't get wrongly convicted. Often, that's not the case of course. In this case, Cosby admitted the truth when he was civilly sued because he was granted immunity from criminal prosecution.

His 5th amendment rights were clearly violated by having his protected testimony then turned against him and charged based off it.

He should rot in prison no doubt. But, his conviction of rape was the result of illegally obtained confession. Further, no actual physical evidence was presented linking Cosby to these crimes. Literally he said she said.

Make no mistake: this is a case study that will be taught for DECADES to come at law schools.

The take-away is: there is a societal price to pay for any legal system based on “innocent until proven guilty.” They’re not just high-concept pretty words. They’re real, and if the state screws up the case, the perp walks free.

Don’t go saying we need to be able to break the law for special cases. If you them break the law to catch a devil, sooner or later, they’ll justify breaking the law to catch a man. When the legal system can be bent? That’s far, far worse to live under than innocent until proven guilty.
