Now that my car is lowered for the last year or so I find it a little bouncy or boingy at times I do scrape sometimes and I have stock headers. I purchased bilstein B8 rear shocks and struts for lowered cobra ,have not installed yet just wanted to know if anyone here has installed them and do I notice or feel a difference with them to tighten up the bouncy. Roads here are garbage couldn’t imagine I had headers .
I have iso all around except front tops .

My original Bilsteins seems to be fine on H&R Race springs. It's super stiff but nothing out of the ordinary based on the springs I'm running. B8s I'm sure will be a nice upgrade for you though.

What springs are you running?

B8s, race springs, and all the isos here.
It really depends on what you're comparing the ride quality to, but I personally think it rides just fine. It's firm, but not to the point where you're worried about your teeth rattling out of your mouth. Now that I'm comparing it in my head, it's smoother than the stock Fiesta ST or Focus RS ride.

My cobra on stock Bilsteins and race springs rides WAY better than my 2001 GT with B springs and KYB Oranges ever did. It’s like a Cadillac compared to that ride.

Totally agree on what you’re comparing it to.

B8s and h&r race springs with all isos, rides a lot smoother than the previous stock bilsteins with cut springs

Ran cut stocks for awhile with stock shocks and struts.
Went to H&R race springs on stock shocks/struts
Months later did the Bilstein B8 Shocks/Struts.

Got to say it is not a significant difference from the stocks for street driving.
IMO

Not the same set up but I have the Koni yellow's with H&R sport springs. I came from road race coil overs so its rides much better in that aspect. I am currently looking at swapping out the sport springs for the race just to get it up a little higher with long tubes going on this winter.

I can tell you from first hand experience that the ride quality difference between the two is 100% attributed to the IRS in the cobra.

I have an IRS swapped GT with full FTBR bushing kit and the first thing I noticed on the first shake down was how much smoother the car rode. Even just cruising down the highway at 75 the car is amazingly more comfortable.
