This might be the hardest post of my life. I have decided to sell my beloved 2003 Black/Parchment/Black Cobra Convertible. I need the garage for my new 2018 Shelby GT350.
I am the original owner and have been a member of this forum since April 2002, even before I took delivery of the car. I have nearly 800 posts here so there are no secrets about me or this car. I have decided to post it here first, before I put it up for auction. This car is the best of what a Terminator can be. It was carefully designed, professionally built, and has been meticulously maintained.
The car is located in Atlanta, GA. I am asking $25,000. Following are details.
· Black with parchment suede inserts and black cloth convertible top - 1 of 190 convertibles produced with that combination in 2003
· 56,000 miles
· Carefully designed, professionally built, meticulously maintained
· One owner, clean report, no accidents, excellent condition inside and out
· Reason for selling: 2018 Mustang Shelby GT350
· New tune and dyno in 2019, 450 rwhp, 470 rwtq
· New premium convertible top and struts in 2014
· New carpet and floor mats in 2019
· Superficially scratched in a parking lot in 2018, new paint on left front fender and hood, new bumper
· Paint recently polished and professionally sealed - paint in close to new condition all around
· All major modifications installed by Team Ford Marietta and Injected Engineering, Kennesaw, GA www.injectedengineering.com
This car was purpose built for track days at Road Atlanta with over $20,000 in upgrades. Then I had kids and my priorities changed. It has less than 10 hours on track. It has been a garage queen for over 10 years with no track time at all. Is perfect mechanically and nearly perfect cosmetically. Really clean. The only cosmetic issues are slight wear on the driver seat bolster as seen in the pictures and a very small chip on the right front fender. Has never seen a drag strip. It is truly amazing to drive and transcends what this platform was capable of from the factory. Someone is going to get an amazing ride, and I wish I had the garage space to keep it.
