Street car Takeover came to Houston (Lonestar Motorsports Park/ Hennesseys track) last week so a couple buddies and I decided to participate in the roll racing. The prep was absolutely horrible so we stayed away from digs. As you can see from the subject, both cars made more power than me so it's not surprising to find out I couldn't come around either. My car has a 65mm twin tb, jlt intake, and 2.4 upper with a Lund tune. The Z06 was a m7 and the Camaro had a 6L90e. All rolls were from ~30mph out of second gear (a bit sluggish). I'll try to upload some videos later. I was trapping ~133, z06 at ~138, and camaro at ~139. We all drove the cars an hour away and an hour back with zero problems which is the most important factor in my eyes lol

Surrounded by Chevrolets on the way up there.

Why would you handicap yourself and do 2nd gear on a 30 roll...? Should have been in 1st man.

Thanks for sharing.

Lol Like I said, the prep was BAD. I attempted coming out of 1st gear on the first run to get a "feel" for the track and it got sketchy quick. The Z was in 2nd as well so there really was no handicap. Oh well, time for e85.

Damn... well I guess you weren't exaggerating when you said track prep was bad. Figured with your rear wheel/tire combo, you would have been good to go on a roll...

Or a set of 3.73/4.10 gears and keep your existing tune. I prefer torque multiplication and saving weight wherever I can on lightweight parts when I race.

You read my mind. I will end up doing the 3.73s and just ordered the BMR rod end LCA's and and relocation brackets over Black Friday.
