did you use it ? wondering what to look for if not using tool?

i had noticed a drop in boost on mine years ago...and seen this in truck section of service manual

i had started some threads back than but couldnt recall when i found the tool..

i havent done anything to find out why...only thing changed around that time was the belt...

went from oem to parts store....reading over cobra bobs facts and questions,,the oem is 1/2 inch longer than parts store belt..

its been about 200k in miles i think im going to do (oem)belts this summer ..

the idler pulley blew,and thats how belt broke
