The chrome tips on my car has the chrome fading away and looks like copper in spots. Wondering what the best option is to make them look good again. thinking of having the 2 back sections ceramic coated. Not sure if borla just sells the tailpipe/tips.

Call Borla and get them replaced. That's why they have the "Million Mile" warranty.
Really they are covered?.
No I just looked at the waranty and it only covers the original purchaser which im not. Oh well that blows.

If you want to buy new tips, and you have the stingers, the tip part # is 20245. Summitt carries them for $69 each. Not sure if that's a good deal or maybe it's cheaper to cut yours off and have them chromed again

This would be the easier route. And probably cheaper. Good post.
Then get them clear powercoated so you dont have to mess with them.
It's disappointing an exhaust that costs that much would have chrome plated junk tips instead of polished stainless. Dumps those tips and get some of these Welcome to Stainless Steel Systems | Products

Those look pretty good. Did you just cut yours off and use the slip fit so no welding needed?.
That's what I did originally ,but I eventually had them welded on because I caught someone trying to steal them.. :shrug:
I had the same problem. I called up Borla and bought replacement tips from them @$75 each. I went to my local muffler shop and had them installed. When I talked with Borla, they said it was a special order part number, and not available on their website.

The borla tips are to short and look funny from the side view IMO .
