Bought a 2013 Mustang GT Premium

Yesterday I traded my 03 Cobra in for a 2013 Mustang GT Premium. I test drove a 2012 and 2013 and decided to go with the 2013. I liked the hood, tail lights, and wheel/rim combo on the 13. Also, the 2013 has the 4.3 LCD display, it has the a/f ratio,cylinder temp,voltage,oil temp,pressure, track applications. I can't believe Ford put an accelerometer with a drag strip christmas tree as an application. My Premium GT has the 3.73 axle and a Bembo brake pkg. I have pictures but i can't figure out how to upload them.

Pictures are up. Private party value for this car is 21,000. 39600 miles i got trade in for 19,000. Also, consider i saved the sales tax on the difference which equals 1,200. I'll miss the supercharger wine and 491 rwhp for sure. It was a lot faster than the 2013 since it has 100 extra rwhp. I will NOT miss the convertible noise, hard clutch petal, and heavy bumpy feel form the Cobra. I'm 42 now my priorities have changed.

Wow, that is a pretty damn good trade number! Sounds like the dealer knows the value of the car.

My 04' with 460/470 ran 118mph in the 1/4, and my 12' runs 114mph with the only perf mod being the FRPP Procal. I really enjoy my GT and hope you do as well.

You are correct the general sales manager is a Mustang enthusiast. I got the trade in number but since it was a 2013 there was only a 500.00 Ford rebate plus i got 1500 off MSRP in additional saving. You can save a lot more money on 2012s since there is a 2500 instant rebate,lower MSRP and you could probably squeeze out some more saving if you wine enough.
