Not gonna lie, I did that in my old Altima one time. Just transferred to a new command and a Nor-Easter came through, had no idea the base (NAS Oceana) was famous for flooding. Started through an intersection after a stop sign and as soon as I hit the water it went from puddle to washing over my hood instantly. No choice but to commit and push through at that point, aside from my clutch slipping for a few miles I was no worse for wear. I got lucky and I know it.
