Hmm…how is the c8 tuned?
they try to use piggybacks with boosted applications... but its less than ideal. this car isnt boosted. The c8 is more of an exotic feeling and handling car than the mustang. The c8 is down literally hundreds of horsepower. But having that motor right over the rear wheels allows 2.7 second launches to 60 mph. incredible for a 495 hp car. Its gonna be crazy when native tuning is available to the public. i would love a 1000HP turbo c8... perfect traction and razor sharp corner carver. and oh yeah... drop DEAD gorgeous. This is not a corvette... not really. wait till u take a ride in one.Hmm…how is the c8 tuned?
lol.. thats probably the greatest compliment u could give the chevy. wow. it does have 6.2 liters to work with.......... imagine the thumping the mustang would take if the c8 had a turbo kit on it and a tunable ecu....... that day will feel like christmas to me.I have trouble giving this one full credit...we are talking about 2 cars with at LEAST 10mph between them in the 1/4 mile roll racing and it's that close? FBO on an NA car will not explain it.

the c8 is the perfect BASE for something crazy. the 3400 pound car is light enough to be nimble. the motor is right over the tires and this almost eliminates traction issues completely... on almost any surface. With 1000HP this car would be the most fun you EVER had in a car... tuning through the ECU opens up possibilities that dont exist right now. Reducing torque between shifts to save the tranny would be possible with ECU tuning... much more effectively than with the fueltek or motec piggybacks they are currently using for high HP turbo cars. Be nice to outrun a tesla plaid in a straight line.. be COMICAl to see the tesla try to keep up at any racetrack with it 4800 pound weight... yes.. u read that correctly.... 4 8 0 0 POUNDS. the tesla is that chubby PRETTY girl in high school that ALOT of people wanna screw just ONCE. and then never mention it again.FBO, weight reduction, and E85 is what is claimed.

its a GREAT car just without the HP of the rest of the exotics... its a great car for me to fly through the hood lookin good in. it hooks like valcro. its light.... i dont have enough money to buy a ferrari or mclaren. this will have to do. i have a FAST bike. really fast... not an 8 second car...... really fast. 500 pound bike that makes over 600HP. scary fast. one of a hanfull of streetbikes that actually made 600hp and can prove it and idles and doesnt overheat or do any weird shit. LOTS of work gettuing that bike at 1000 percent and a years salary almost. Im very proud of that bike. If i had the money.. u can bet your ass i would have bought the ferrari though. no question, The truth is... I am lucky to even have the corvette. I feel blessed. I risked my life for a LONG time to be able to do this. 1000 hours of overtime. But i got there. Alot of people work very hard and for a long time and NEVER get to drive/own one of these cars. Some other people come from money and their dad owns a business or whatever and they get to live a certain type of life. I was born handsome....... NOT rich. So the corvette is as far as i go. And im ok with that. Im blessed. i have my health... some of my youth left and people that love me. I feel great. The c8 is a GREAT car. I have zero debt and 3 credit cards... lets see if i cant add 300HP in time...... i know your impressed with the c8 but let's really call it what it really is...a copied mclaren 12c/ferrari 488 without turbos and without mclaren/ferrari racing tech.
i had my mclaren when the c8 came out and could not believe how much chevy copied the 12c in design etc.

As you can see the GT500 is nearly 8 full seconds ahead by 160. Bolt on's or not that vette has something hidden. I guess 150-200 shot of spray.
