Watched the Alejandro Flores Video where a cai only showed gains w/ the hood up and lost power w/ the hood down, ive also heard the '18 up stock box's were improved as well. The cai also raised iat's driving in hot weather where the filters numbers were stable. Being in South Florida I think I would be better off w/ just a drop in. Any input would be appreciated

Go drop in filter. The factory CAI is actually really good untill you add some real power. Your biggest gain will be from a tune. Next would be full exhaust, last would be a CAI

The 18 up intake is pretty good intake. Open filter intakes make more power (with hood up and/or cooler air). In 95 degree air I would take the closed box.

I have run a AEM dry flow filter with carbon trap removed for couple years on my 18 GT. Recently switched to the Injen Evolution closed box with 8 inch conical filter. The intake tube is bigger, smoother and no ribbing compared to stock. My car has a GPE custom ventri ported 88mm stock tb plus E85 tuning. Car feels like it picked up some torque and top end power. How much who knows? It was only 270 shipped to my door.
