There is a guy at Sonoma that has been racing a Callaway for 19 years that I can remember. Runs 10.90’s on 8 psi with a set of slicks. He never turns it up, his is an auto though. It’s quiet just like the one in the vid, same red color with holes in the front and goofy taillights too.
I wouldn't mind having a early 90's ZR-1.
I remember being at a car show when I was a kid and a new ZR-1 on the lot was north of $60K. I think it was a $30K option on top of the base Vette.
I always liked that engine.
Back in 1991 when I was 16 years old, my friend’s dad bought a new ZR-1.
One day he handed me the keys and said “see you in a little while” knowing it wasn’t in valet mode.
I’m still talking about it 30 years later. That’s the impression it left on me.
Chevy could have made a lot worse mistakes than keeping that motor in corvette and continuing its development.
I day dream of having all 4 Zs in the same color. The early C4s are still cheap.
Yes they are, but only so much space, have to get rid of my 08. Been seriously tempted a few times by screaming good deals for sure.
I'd give one of you guys' left testicle for a Sledgehammer
95 ZR1 with the 5.7 4v cammer i thought was cool.
