Calling all the MGW shifter owners!! In here

Do you guys rotate your shifter towards you? How many of you move the handle up vertically to accomodate you? Hoping to spark some tips for current unhappy mgw owners with dificulty hitting 2nd-3rd. :banana:

Mike, if you were to compare where it is pointed to a clock, and 6 being at the stock position, what time would your setup be? :rolling:

Mine has been at 7 since I installed it. Never had any problems after the new shifter.

I tried different positions before selecting 7:00. It seems to make shifting easiest for me. Really have to work at missing a shift.

i put mine slightly pased 6 towards 7. 2-3 shouldnt be a problem the thing basically goes straight to 3rd with little effort:shrug:

+1 have mine about 7-8 o'clock. I installed the MGW shift knob today Suave, looks good buddy. Def. a improvement over my 2001 bullet shift knob. :lol:

glad you liked it! I loved it as well, but for some reason I prefer the feel of the stock "bulky" knob.

Hmm I'm going to have to try this, I've been hitting my shifts SLOWER vs the stock shifter...
