Steeda Autosports sponsors the Track Guys driving school at Sebring

If you’ve never had the pleasure of hot-lapping your performance Ford on a road course, you don’t know what you are missing. Going full throttle for longer you ever could at the drag strip, diving hard on the brakes in a turn and doing it all again is as addictive as it gets. It’s even more fun we you learn to get better and go faster thanks to the advice of a skilled instructor.
That’s just the sort of experience you can expect at the Track Guys event at Sebring International Raceway at the end of the month.
“Track Guys events are open to drivers of all skill and experience levels. From pure first-timer to experience veteran, Track Guys programs provide a safe, fun and educational driving environment for everyone,” says Track Guys. “Beginning and Novice level drivers get their own classroom sessions and in-car instructors, while Intermediate and Advanced drivers are in run groups with others of similar experience.”

This year Track Guys has once again partnered with Steeda to turn its Sebring event into Camp Steeda, a multi-day celebration of speed featuring a meet ’n greet on Friday May 27 followed by two full days of instruction and track time.
“Check into the Chateau Elan Hotel Friday, May 27th then meet fellow students, instructors and sponsor reps as we socialize. We’ll then spend Saturday and Sunday bringing you up to speed,” says Steeda. “Your two-day, go-fast boot camp addresses the tech requirements for your vehicle, ride-along instructions that combines theory with ‘seat of your pants’ experience, and ultimately, you will be cleared for take off to enjoy solo laps. And more solo laps.”
If inexperience is holding you back from participating in something like this, Track Guys is offering you an inexpensive way to sample the fun of the track—The Track Guys Test Drive. For just $50 you can participate in the driver’s meeting, morning classes, the parade lap and run on track with an instructor. If you have fun, you can apply the Test Track fee to the full event price and join in on the full Camp Steeda fun.
