I know Ceramic coated is supposed to reduce under hood heat and help increase exhaust flow, but what about sound, what is the difference in interior sound/noise compared to non coated and stock? I would like to go with a set of Ceramic Coated but I dont want much of an increase in interior sound and resonance. Also what is the consensus of which brand are the best fitting headers?

Ceramic coating will take the pinging sound away on cheap headers. I do it any time I have headers out, or installing new ones. Truck, cars, bikes I have done them all and other then the pinging sound stopping I have never heard anything different on them.

And by headers I hope you mean longtubes. Don't even bother with shorties, they are completely not worth it for the money and aggravation to install them.

I've installed BBK, ARH and Kooks and fitment was good on all of the above. BBK is limited to 1 5/8" tube diameter only so depending on your ultimate power goals one of the 1 7/8" options from Kooks or ARH so its a done and done type thing. Its definitely not a job you want to do twice, unless the motors already out or something.

1 7/8" is too large for a stock cube, stock cammed engine.

Coating will minimally reduce underhood temps.

And I know BBK is shite... you ever use MACs or should ppl just stop being cheap and go Kooks etc...?
