Changing MAF

Can you switch from an SCT 2600 big air traditional style MAF to a SCT 5000 blade style MAF without a re-tune? 96-98 car

You'll need a new tune. Different range and resolution. I'd still do the swap though. I ran a BA5000 in a blow through set up and it was awesome.

anytime you modify the maf you need to let the ecu know

Great MAF choice. I ran that on my Procharged GT. My tuner made me run it lol.
