That is a super sweet car!

I do second the high RPM's I was able to sustain 7500 RPM in 4th gear with my '91 and it was just screaming with delight.

the car ran a 13.8 @110 the only day we had it at the track, which was piss slow for what we wanted, we knew we had one bad exhaust leak before the turbo, but what we didn't know is that the pipe to the rear manifold had warped, and we had a 1/2 inch gap baCK THERE. it took about 1/3 of the quarter mile to finally start to build boost,

a 13.8 @ 110 with a massive exhaust leak in a 3600 pound car aint to bad. theres at LEAST an extra second to be found in the 1/4 mile times

the rear pipe is all fixed, and the other leak will be dealt with this spring via v band clamps, plus a host of other upgrades:

more boost (up from 8psi to about 15psi)
complete 3" exhaust (have parts)
install 3" electric cutout (have cutout, need to build the pipes for it)
upgrade tranny cooler
upgrade engine oil cooler
upgrade P/S cooler
reinstall air conditioning
upgrade turbo intake pipe to 4" instead of 3" choked to 2-2.5"
bigger intercooler
install 13" front brakes (have parts)
install 245/45/17 slicks and race
run 12's then drive home and get 32mpg on the highway
buy cheep speed rated tires that will go 170 mph + for dyno pulls
dyno as the car sits to 8K rpm
dyno with new intake to 8K rpm (sheet metal unit im starting to build)
retune shift points after dyno pulls

and probably some other stuff also, if we should happen to get the urge ...
