Cobra/GT Build Thread

    absolutely i would love to know if they fit but i doubt they would with the offset. I am actually looking for a 50+ front offset 18" rim now :mad:

    got it on the ground finally. got the rear brake brackets redone to work with ebrake cables. got the heat exchanger mounted a lot of little things. I did have to put a 1/2' spacer on the other side of the front rotor to get enough clearance with the wheels i am using.

    Also if anyone for any reason wants the cobra with the title im just gunna scrap it when im done the swap so would be sold basically for parts. Im taking most of the good stuff for the GT like the body parts (except the seats i dont need them)but the beyond the rust i have enough parts to put it back together would honestly just need a motor and trans. i have the rear, steering, interior, and suspension from the GT. just a thought.

    well I have been way too busy to get much done on this build besides rolling the fenders. But I figured i would share what has been taking up my time.

    Did you finish the swap into the GT and if so could you share the path you took on the wiring side of it or is there a thread somewhere in the forum? Am getting ready to do the same swap into my 03 GT. Tia.
