One of the owners of the dealership I work for has a 2000' "R" for sale. the car had been sold but the deal has fallen through (again.... same buyer....long story) and is now available again. Car just turned 10,000 miles, 2nd owner, full documentation, has a radio but nothing has been cut and the windows are tinted. The car is in excellant shape. $38,500 firm

I just bought a '00R this weekend. You have to look for a while to find one at a decent price these days. Lots of low mileage/wrapper cars are availble in the low-mid $40's. Seems there is one every week or so on ebay.

I will say if you find one drive it a bit to make sure its everything you want. After drving mine the last two days, I like the power they make but in reality I really enjoy driving my 93Rs more. They are lighter and just seem more nimble. The '00R has a bulky and heavy feel.

congrats on the purchase, now you need to find a 95R to complete the collection ;-)

I checked out the link to your business....keep your eyes open for a 66-67 fairlane GT/GTA convertible or 66-67 Comet convertible....also looking for a formal roof 66 and a 66-67 fairlane 4-door to complete my 66-67 fairlane collection....no rush, basically looking for nice rust-free cars, not neccessarily a show condition car, a nice original or at least a non-butchered car would be great....

    Cobra R Price

A frend of mine just bought a 05 Ford GT and is selling his 00 R and 93 Cobra. He sold the 03 Cobra and I thought he had a 95 R, but it was a 93 Cobra

I have noticed that also. The 93 also seems to have more room inside. I fit best in the 93.

I think it's because the windshield is most upright in the 93 which keeps it away from the driver so it "seems" roomier inside. The driver seat position and space is exactly the same in all three cars.

To me it also appears that the door panels are thinner on the 93 and thicker on the 95 and 00. The thicker door panels seem to give that "closed in" feel that the 93 does not.

Because of the windshield difference, the roof/headliner also seems to be taller.

I had never really put it all together, but I would guess that the windshield being further away from my face, the door panels not being as close to my shoulder/arm, and the additional headroom with the, what seems to be taller roof, is a good reason why the 93R seems to be more roomy than the 95 and 00R's.

    hijack!!!

It happens all the time. Dont be upset. So, a 2000R with low miles might be 45k, higher miles high 30's. Scott
