I had a MGB 1980 LE with the fender mirrors. With the Weber carb and header I think it was 45 hp. But it fun, not as fun as my 1973 Triumph TR6.

I’d agree with the TR6 statement. A friend of ours has one that I drove. No comparison. Only thing I didn’t like about it was the clutch grabbed about an inch from the floor. It wasn’t a steady increase but all in. My only complaint about that car.

Don't diss that rice burner. It kicked everything's ass in its class back in the day. And gave Por-shuh's a run for the money at traffic lights.
I may or may not have owned a rice burner before I matured.

If it doesn’t have some form of removal roof I don’t own it. Sold every one of my coupe mustangs and regretted selling my Cobra vert. Went from vert to hardtop and the hardtop was replaced in under 6months.

The more visceral experience you can get while driving, the better it becomes. 1 targa and 2 verts in my current stable.
