If people want a racecar, they better expect to take a street car, add cooling that racecars have, then use it as a racecar.
Sure, but if they want to attend an occasional track day they shouldn't have an issue after 15 minutes. I can track(have tracked) a 1995 Escort GT and not have issue in the first 15 minutes even when keeping it close to red line most the time.

So are you saying your 1995 Escort GT is more track-capable than a C7 Z06? Or are you admitting that your 1995 Escort GT does not have the proper sensors in the transmission and rear end to put the car in limp mode to prevent damage due to overheating?

My coworker lemon lawed his first one due to transmission and brake issues. Now his second one is having problems.

Doesn't surprise me that you live in California. I bet California has more lemon law cars than any other 10 states combined in any given year.

Both. It can last longer than 15min, and it doesn't have the sensors to **** itself up.

lol

1.) Your car is not more track capable than a C7 Z06. Sorry.

2.) You meant to say it doesn't have the sensors to prevent it from ****ing itself up.

If hes pulled over after 15min and I'm not, I'd say ANYTHING that I'm driving is more capable.

After 15 minutes, he'll be through 10 laps while you're finishing number 7. By the time he cooled down, you'd still have to catch up.

That's the stupidest argument I've ever heard.

I couldd take a Prius on the track and outlast you before having to fill up, therefore my Prius would be more track capable than your car.

In a 20-30 minute race, the z06 DNF'ed.

I thought the z06 came with lots of added coolers?

lol An idiot, eh?

You sir, need to re-evaluate how upset you get over internet-talk. You said your Escort was more track capable than a C7 Z06, then proceeded to get butthurt when I told you it wasn't.

Comparing F1 cars to each other, is a tiny bit different than comparing your $1500 car to an $80k car; different ballpark.

I'd rather run 3 out of 5 sessions with a Z06 rather than running 5 out of 5 in your Escort GT.

The butthurt is strong in you.

Wonder what said conditions at the track were when they put the cars into limp mode. Gonna take a wild guess and say it wasn't 45 degrees outside and overcast

So an 80K car cant finish a track day but an $1,500 does. Whats the better car?

I'll take the car that can actually FINISH over the ones that looks good for 15min at a time. I don't care if it's an Escort, SMART car, or a moped.

Tell ya what, you take the escort and I'll take the z06.

You can finish allllll the track days you want and we'll both be happy. Deal? I'll go buy an escort GT right now so we can trade, what color you want?
