Yes yes, we all get it. You don't like Costco
Bj’s on the other hand has my support as of now. And not only because of their name. Lol. They didn’t give me any grief going in there maskless.

Unfortunately in NC you can only get liquor in state operated ABC stores.

If you get the opportunity while at Costco and you see this, pick it up! I have always like their rye but this is delicious

^I like their dark rye. Blended with port. Not a wine guy at all, but it backs down the rye "heat" quite nicely.

I moved from North Carolina back to Michigan middle of June. Yesterday was in Meijer and found something that I had a hard time finding at the state ABC Stores in Winston Salem. Last bottle on the shelf, on a Sunday at state minimum price of $32. My wife said, " you should grab it" so didn't argue with her.

I'm jealous of you people with states that have Costcos that can sell liquor...NC needs to revisit some antiquated biblical BS laws.

I actually didn’t care for Kirkland’s 20yr Scotch - especially when judged against other 20yr whiskeys, but I’m open to trying their other offerings.

I am not surprised honestly. I have yet to be disappointed with any Kirkland booze.

I actually like the 12 year blended scotch. To me it's smother than Glenlivet 12 year and comes across as smokey caramel.
Im off to get me some right freaking now!

Oh I have to travel out of state to get it or have someone smuggle it in. Montana is a state liquor store deal also

We found out while vacationing that Maine has an agreement with CVS to sell liquor. There are no state liquor stores. You have to go to a state licensed store like CVS. It was really weird to walk into the CVS in Booth Bay and find aisles of liquor.

I got a bottle and it's great. Can't be beat for 19.99. I have a 25+ bottle collection currently and this will for sure stay in the rotation. Look forward to trying the other 2.

I'm hoping they get more if this one in stock. I'd like to squirrel a few bottles away for hard times.

The land of commies and socialists!
You guys are speaking my language. Another cheap Barton brand to keep an eye out for is Very Old Barton Bottled in Bond. Very good for under $20.

Little impromptu tasting at the campground last summer:

Ever try anything from Knob Creek? I just picked up a bottle their Rye. For $32 on sale this stuff is amazingly smooth.
