Today my brother and I hauled a 1950 Buick (the remains of it) out of the woods , his pickup a 97 F250 Powerstroke and mine a 92 F150 300" and 5 speed (both 4x4) what made it possible I have a Warn 9.5ti on the back of mine.

I still parted the winch cable 3 times pulling him up the slope to a gravel road.

They are damn near indestructible and they are torquey as hell

My 300-6 only lasted 94k miles before the rings were junk and it had no compression. In my experience not indestructible. And it was meticulously maintained/never abused.

Swapped it out for a 351 Cleveland and sold off the 300-6 & associated hardware...complete swap only cost me $200 and my time. Ran the Cleveland for another 150k and it was still going strong when I sold it. I'll take the 351C any time over the 300-6. Only lost 1 mpg in the end and had waaaay more torque.

Nice to see some pics of trucks "doin' work". Thanks for sharing.
